Here’s my book list for 2016. There are 15 books on it. Confession time: I don’t usually get through that many per year. No matter how good my habits, I average about a book per month. However, that does not stop me from wanting to buy all the books. I don’t know why, but I’m like a kid in a candy shop when I enter a bookstore. Something about those crisp covers with their bold typeface or that rush of possibility I get from flipping through the pages… maybe reading the first few. I love the potential for discovery a new book presents. What will it teach me about the human condition? About the experiences of others? About different time periods or places? Anyway, now you might understand why I eagerly put too many titles on my reading list.
I will probably revisit my selections and make updates as the year progresses. But for now, here it is. If you have any favorites (or any you didn’t like) on this list, I’d love your thoughts!
